I am really extremely disappointed in Asda who I have used for several years. I booked a grocery delivery slot between 7 and 8 pm on November 24th and spent over £78.
The delivery didn't come. I had a missed call the next day from Hatfield (Herts) store and when I called back they said they would deliver by 12pm. I called again as still no one turned up and was told that they would arrive by 6pm.
When I called again and put through to the Hatfield Herts store, I was told that someone had arrived to deliver at 1 pm but they didn't - I waited in all day and still no one arrived. In fact I was watching out of the window at that time!
I was not offered an apology, no one called to tell me they couldn't deliver then I was lied to saying a driver turned up and no one was home. When I explained I was on a budget they just said to place a new order even though I explained I was told I would have to wait over 3 days for reimbursement so couldn't afford to place a new order immediately. I asked to speak to a manager but was told none were available and I would have to call back in the morning.
I expect better service from one of the UK'S best supermarkets and this really puts me off from buying from you again now.
