Had on line delivery in April with £58 worth of goods not delivered. Original order delivered to wron address so no facility to apply for 4efund on line. After dozens of phone calls to customer service and promises of call back which never came, letters written to head office and no reply I had no option but to issue a claim in the County Court and pay a fee of £25. No defence entered by Asda so I obtained judgment against them. Still no payment so emailed Head Office to tell them. They then confirmed that they would refund the £58. I had to write again saying the still owed me court fee which they reluctantly agreed to pay sometime later. No apology and no explanation. An example of extremely bad customer service compared to Waitrose and Marks and Spencer. Its worth paying more (if in fact you do as the food from Asda is not always fresh), for the excellent service from them. I will never shop with Asda again.
