I bought a tree on sale after Christmas 2018. We were excited in November 2019 to set up and light our new, expensive tree. The top part of our most-realistic, flip tree didn't light. We came customer service and they promised to send a new top. Later, they came back to say they didn't have any tops in stock, but would send us a new tree after Christmas and some lights to put on the topper to get us through 2019 Christmas.
2020, I called in March to ask when our replacement tree was arriving. I was told they were out of stock, but it would arrive by July. In August, I came again to inquire when my replacement tree was arriving. I was told by the first week of September. At the end of September, I called again and was told, this time, my tree was out of stock and they would replace my tree with a different tree - but only up to the price I had paid for my expensive, most-realistic flip tree ($799 on sale). My tree was almost $1900 at full price and the were only going to replace it with a crappy $799 tree or I could use $799 towards the purchase of a comparable tree to mine. So they wanted me to spend another $1000 to replace my tree with a tree we didn't order!
Their guarantee is meaningless. I am filing a consumer fraud complaint with our State Attorney General. And I am stuck with a tree that only lights on the bottom half.
I wish I could give a zero star review.
