Really bad customer service from the Westfield White city store today. My daughter tried to return a Christmas gift from her brother who purchased online on the 28 November an item that was on her wish list. After Xmas and new year today 3 January, was the first day she could return it for a gift card as there wasn’t anything she liked in the store. It’s not as if there is a Berksha store in every town to be able to return straight after Christmas, so we drove to our nearest store from High Wycombe to the Westfield store, also the family had Co-vid during Christmas so it’s not as if we could have visited a store any earlier. First off they wouldn’t refund it on a gift card and then refused refund as it was outside of their 30 day return policy. When most stores honour Christmas purchases and have an extended return policy for this period. The so called manager we spoke to us was unrelenting and stuck to their so called return policy, oh and they also have a No Policy on giving out their names. My daughter now has a £30 outfit that she can’t wear! Sorry for the rant, but was truly p- off with the store at their unhelpful attitude and lack of flexibility. Needless to say another lost customer! After this rant will also email their customer service, though not holding out any hope for a favourable response.
