So disappointed with my recent Coast online shopping experience. Purchased a skirt and top to match.....both beautiful, top was a perfect fit, but the skirt was not true to size and too small (no way was the skirt a size 14!). Not able to exchange it at a Coast concession (no stores), and told that their warehouse is experiencing 'significant delays' of weeks. So options were to fork out another £145 for a skirt and wait 4 weeks for a refund, or pay a lot to have seamstress literally rip the skirt apart to make it fit. Wedding is 3 weeks away, so would take too long to return, refund and then order the same skirt in a different size! I've now had pay to get the skirt altered. I don't expect to have to pay for a skirt to be fixed, when it could've so easily been exchanged, so now this skirt has cost me nearly £200! Will never use Coast again. So disappointed that a store with excellent customer service now doesn't seem to care about their customers. To add, I have always been a size 14 in Coast dresses/skirts/etc. never had a problem with their sizing before and always good quality clothing...a lessen learned for me, an expensive one though, not to buy from Coast again, which I am very sad about.
