Disappointed in the poor quality of the fabric of a skirt I've just purchased, I returned it to Cotton Traders for a refund. I can now cost the exercise - skirt £37.00, delivery £3.99, return £2.95. Total charges equal £6.94 - effectively 10% of the cost of the goods. This is somewhat out of line when compared to most other companies.
I am also disappointed that the only available means of communication with the company is via a premium phone line as I a) much prefer to email so that I then have a record of any communication if there's a problem and b) feel exploited if I'm telephoning them in order to sort any difficulties.
Fortunately there are many other companies who don't charge so much for such poor service.
