I visited this store recently and was left feeling deeply uncomfortable and humiliated. I was carrying an oversized bag with a cushion inside—nothing suspicious, just part of my day. While browsing, I overheard the manager instruct a colleague to “be aware” of me. I hadn’t done anything to warrant suspicion, and the implication that I was a shoplifter was incredibly upsetting.
There was no apology or explanation, just a quiet assumption that I might be doing something wrong based solely on how I looked or what I was carrying. This kind of behaviour is not only unprofessional—it’s damaging. I believe customers deserve to be treated with basic dignity and respect, and unfortunately, that was not my experience here.
