I have shopped in Deichmann many times and been extremely pleased but yesterday in the Southend, Essex shop there were two young girls behind the counter. One was serving a man and the other was just standing there. I went up to the counter and she said she wasn't serving and started to 'tidy' and break boxes and move things around. I had to wait some time for the man to be served. It seems 'tidying up' is more important than serving customers. I was just about to dump my three boxes of shoes and go when the man left. Bad customer service!!!!!
