The first time I complained about the soles of my unused walking shoes disintegrating in the shoe cupboard, the shop assistant (in Street) told me that I had no cause to complain.
I find Ecco shoes extremely comfortable, but invariably I end up throwing them away before I have worn them much.
Today my wife noticed the heel on my Ecco sandal has disintegrated.....
