I am a travel agency agent, and I made a reservation for a client through eDreams. Today, I was shocked to discover that I was charged an additional €80 for what eDreams claims is an "annual subscription plan." However, at no point during the reservation process was I made aware of, or given the option to accept, any subscription. I never agreed to this charge, nor did I see any indication of it while booking.
I immediately contacted eDreams customer support by phone, only to be told that there was no possibility of a refund, despite this charge being completely unexpected and unauthorized. They stated there was no refund guarantee for this "subscription," and I feel completely scammed by the platform.
This experience has been extremely frustrating, and I am deeply disappointed by the lack of transparency and customer service. I urge others to be cautious when booking with eDreams, as hidden charges like this are not clearly disclosed, and customer support offers no help in resolving the issue.
I would not recommend eDreams to anyone and will be seeking other avenues to resolve this matter, including filing complaints with consumer protection authorities.
