“I had the worst experience with eDreams Prime. I paid for the Prime membership because it supposedly entitled me to two penalty-free cancellations, and when I cancelled according to all their rules, they stole my reservation money. They refused to refund me or change my reservation. They kept telling me to contact the airline, who said I hadn't booked directly with them. eDreams is terrible; it doesn't deserve even one star. They steal their customers' money.
I had paid for two consecutive years of eDreams Prime and now they tell me that I was in a trial period and that's why they couldn't cancel my flight, even though I called them 48 hours in advance and sent them all the corresponding documentation. I have proof of the emails dated.”

I clicked on what I thought was a Ryanair link, only to discover I was booking through eDreams, a third-party agent. I was automatically signed up for a “free” 7-day Prime account. Once I realised this, I tried to cancel my £129 flight - but eDreams would not allow cancellation for 10 days without charging £99.
Ryanair does not recognise the booking, so I cannot manage or cancel it directly.
Customer service is bot-only online, and the dedicated phone number is a premium-rate line that simply rings endlessly on a Wi-Fi call. Emails are ignored.
This has been stressful and frustrating. Warning: eDreams is misleading, their customer support is effectively non-existent, and you risk losing both access and money.
Do not book through eDreams - always go direct with the airline.”
“EDreams demonstrated irresponsible attitude when it comes to looking after clients. On 2 separate occasions I experienced the following:
1. Abandonment and neglect - when my first flight leg arrived late and I missed the next flight - they did not help or assist in organising & rebooking me on another flight - the airline was also not particularly helpful - but eDreams absolved themselves from all the responsibility
2. A booking was made in error - the error was immediately recognised and booking cancellation was attempted. EDreams stated that the cancellation immediately after booking was not possible because the booking was not finalised - then when it was finalised they said that the airline is responsible for everything in circumstances when EDreams assured me the assistance was forthcoming . They continued looping when the airline was not going to assist as the flight was booked through EDreams - third party
I would not recommend this service to anyone. Cheap doesn’t mean good”

“I had a very disappointing experience booking my flight through eDreams. I selected booking and completed payment based on the information shown. A few hours later, I was contacted and told I needed to pay additional charges for the luggage, which was not clearly explained at the time of purchase.
When I requested cancellation (as the ticket was still not issued), I was told it was not possible because it's under process. The information on the website was unclear and misleading. I would not recommend booking through this platform due to the lack of transparency and poor customer support.”

“Unauthorized eDreams Prime charge of $89.99 after a 2023 booking
I booked a flight with eDreams in June 2023 (Cairo → Sharm el-Sheikh) and never knowingly subscribed to any paid “Prime” membership. I only used the service once, and there were no renewal charges in 2024 or 2025.
Unexpectedly, in 2026, eDreams charged me $89.99 USD for a “Prime renewal” I never agreed to. I have contacted customer service several times, but they keep refusing a refund, citing company “policy.”
This charge is clearly unauthorized, and I have now filed a formal complaint with consumer-protection authorities.
I hope eDreams will review my case seriously and process the refund as soon as possible.”

“They have charged me 79.99 pounds for 4 years for a service I am not even using and you have to call a UK phone number to cancel it, they make you wait 2 minutes and cancellation takes 5 minutes, you have to pay international call rates for that if you don't live in the UK. They don't put a cancel button for an online travel agency website where you can add a new payment method or book a flight online, but no cancel button. They practically make money from people who don't realize that they are a member and no refund is offered.”
