“Unauthorized eDreams Prime charge of $89.99 after a 2023 booking
I booked a flight with eDreams in June 2023 (Cairo → Sharm el-Sheikh) and never knowingly subscribed to any paid “Prime” membership. I only used the service once, and there were no renewal charges in 2024 or 2025.
Unexpectedly, in 2026, eDreams charged me $89.99 USD for a “Prime renewal” I never agreed to. I have contacted customer service several times, but they keep refusing a refund, citing company “policy.”
This charge is clearly unauthorized, and I have now filed a formal complaint with consumer-protection authorities.
I hope eDreams will review my case seriously and process the refund as soon as possible.”

“They have charged me 79.99 pounds for 4 years for a service I am not even using and you have to call a UK phone number to cancel it, they make you wait 2 minutes and cancellation takes 5 minutes, you have to pay international call rates for that if you don't live in the UK. They don't put a cancel button for an online travel agency website where you can add a new payment method or book a flight online, but no cancel button. “My experience with eDreams has been extremely bad and frustrating. I honestly feel misled.
I purchased their “Price Freeze” service. eDreams confirmed by email that my flight price was frozen for 3 days at 1,137.16€ (Barcelona – Córdoba – Barcelona).
Within the valid period, I tried to complete the purchase.
The app showed: “Update: this flight is sold out” and did not allow me to book the frozen price.
So what is the point of “freezing” a price if you cannot actually buy the flight?
Because I urgently needed to travel, I was forced to buy the exact same trip (same outbound and return, same dates, same schedule, same route, same stopover) but this time for 1,554.80€.
👉 Frozen price: 1,137.16€
👉 Final price paid: 1,554.80€
👉 Extra paid due to their failure: 417.64€
This was the same flight, only much more expensive because their “Price Freeze” simply did not work.
I contacted customer service four times by phone. The experience was disastrous: agents did not properly understand Spanish, did not understand the problem, gave automatic answers, and provided no real solution at all.
eDreams now claims that Price Freeze “does not guarantee availability”, which means they sell a service that does not guarantee you can actually buy the flight. That is completely misleading.
Conclusion:

I have formally requested a refund of the difference.
I will never use eDreams again and I strongly recommend booking directly with airlines or with more transparent platforms.”
“Using eDreams was my worst experience ever. I couldn't check in online because they used their own email address for the airline booking. The airline required a verification code sent to that email, but eDreams never provided it to me.
As a result, I was forced to check in at the airport counter and pay an extra €50. This is ridiculous! Why should I have to pay a check-in fee on top of my ticket price just because eDreams failed to provide the necessary login details?
I strongly advise everyone to avoid this company. You will go crazy trying to deal with their check-in process. To make matters worse, there is no way to contact their support without paying for it, even though this issue was caused by their technical failure. It is absolutely insane. I signed up for an eDreams Prime trial. It later renewed into a paid yearly plan without clear notice, and money was taken from my account. I cancelled Prime from my account on the website, but I was charged again this year anyway.
Cancellation support feels intentionally limited, and I shouldn’t pay for a service I’m not using. I’ve asked for an immediate cancellation confirmation and a full refund for the latest charge. Until this is resolved, I do not recommend eDreams.”
“This company makes you fill out a bunch of information and offers tons of services you don’t need. When you click to purchase the tickets, they double the price and claim it depends on seat availability. Funny thing is, I tried to buy the same ticket weeks ago and they did the exact same thing for the same reason. Such a scam.”

I'm writing this review to warn others about my terrible experience with eDreams, a travel agency based in Spain. eDreams website and app are a joke - the UI/UX design is faulty, and I got stuck in a loop without getting any results.
eDreams incompetence cost me $750, not to mention that I lost another $1,200 in value due to eDreams internal errors, which eDreams denies. I strongly advise everyone to avoid eDreams and use a different travel agency. The seeming benefits of their Prime membership aren't worth the risk.
I've lost trust in eDreams, and I hope others can learn from my mistake. Choose a different travel agency to avoid similar problems.”
