“This was the worst travel experience of my life, all thanks to eDreams. Due to their booking failure, I was stranded at the airport for 3 days — with an infant and a child — without any assistance for accommodation, food, or even basic support.
After all this, their excuse? “The disruption was caused by a robot, which is beyond our control.” That’s not just absurd — it’s insulting. If your company uses AI systems, you are responsible for the outcome. Passing the blame onto a machine while families suffer is unacceptable.
Eventually, they rebooked us, but only after immense distress and no acknowledgment of the human cost. No compensation, no empathy, just a dismissive message claiming the case was “resolved.”
This company should not be allowed to operate without accountability. If you value your peace of mind, avoid eDreams at all costs.”

“Stay away. I booked my car rental 1 week prior to my flight for 48 euro, I paid in full, I paid the full insurance and then at the delivery point the Europcar charged me an extra hidden cost of 60 euros. If I was aware I would choose a different platform. Europcar informed me about the extra cost 2 hours prior to my flight. I asked for refund and they both refused even that the EuropCar admitted than the informed late due to heavy workload.”

“I had awful expirance with edreams. I paid for cancelation insurance and when I needed to cancel my flight booking it was a nightmare. There is no contact number, the online cancelation is made in a way to break your nerves so you can leave it. At the end the result was answer from theyr side that they can refund ofrom 0 to 40% of the price that I have paid and this will be decided in the next 30 days. I will never use this company again.”
“If there's an option to post a review with less than one star, I'll do that. It is the worst travel agent, and they hold the money and do not book my flight. After one day, they said they could not book the flight, which was the worst experience. If they took the money and said 'booking confirmed,' they should have booked the flight immediately. If not, they had to inform the customer, but they did not do so. Please do not use this for booking.”
“Made a flight booking. Never received an invoice. Online invoice request system doesn't work. Contacted support 3 times and was promised an invoice but it was never sent. 4th time making contact I am told it has been escalated and would be dealt with straight away. Still nothing. Also you have to pay to get a quicker answer from their support team. I would steer well away from this company if you are making business bookings and require an invoice. Terrible and still not resolved.”

“We payed a lot of money for a flight believing it was British Airways as advertised by eDreams but we actually flew with the budget airline Veuling.
Was extremely disappointed and customer service was hopeless. If I wanted Veuling I would have booked a Veuling flight. I am a nervous flyer and was reassured flying with BA so I payed a lot more for our flights. Veuling and BA may be linked but I payed for BA and this is not what I got. I was led to believe it was BA. Would never book through them again. No satisfactory réponse from eDreams.”
“I went to kayak.com to book flights for a family vacation, and the first option for my airline of choice was facilitated by eDreams. I had to agree to a free trial membership in order to book, but I could cancel at anytime. The trial period was scheduled to end before my vacation started. I booked, called to cancel, endured the pushy customer service rep reading their "are you sure?" script, and thought that was that.
A few days later, at 3am on a Sunday, my trip gets cancelled. No explanation. The airline looks into it and explains eDreams cancelled my flight. It costs $99 in non-refundable cancellation fees.
The airline explains eDreams has no affiliation with them, and they recommend not using them or other pay-to-play third party sites. eDreams is predatory, unscrupulous, and vindictive. Go with them if you want your travel plans ruined.”
