“Terrible Terrible Customer Service. Waited on hold for more than 25 minutes to get help and then that help was very unhelpful. Canceled the membership due to they would not refund my ticket price, there is some clause that you must register flight or something like that. That is not what the website portrays when you are reserving a flight. The website is all about getting you to join prime so you will pay a monthly or yearly subscription. I feel like this place is a scam and not truthful will never do business with them again. Will gladly pay a regular booking fare than to deal with these people again.”
“I booked a multi city flight with e dreams , My credit card company declined my card which initially caused the problem.E dreams booked 2 of the flights and asked me to rebook the first flight.
There website said its a duplicate booking and I woll recieve confirmation within hours Which I did not There was also a question mark over luggage being possibly charged for again.
When I complained they apologised and said please rebook which was impossible I contacted them again urgently but they just ignore you.
Finally I cancelled Leaving me £500 plus out of pocket. Which I want returning I would advise anybody thinking of using this company to avoid at all costs. So so Unprofessional. Also there customer. Service is non existent. Why they could not resolve a solmple issue is beyond me.Regards.Kevin.”
“Horrible, they advertised it as free then charged me for 7 months even though i’d not used it ONCE. When I raised this complaint they did absolutely nothing and were horrible. I’m not able to get a refubd”
“The worst booking agency total rip off misleading in every department. For example they advertise a flight trip for £270 and you will end up paying £500 & Their cancellation policy is designed to confuse customers so that you don’t cancel despite adding a cancellation service charges it don’t mean you will get a full refund. Look somewhere else is not worth the stress and the headache.”
“What a horrible experience i had with e dreams the app is not updating my flight status and even after paying £99 to become prime member they want to charge to make any changes because them app is not working properly. Very bad customer service as well they can not make a single call to solve the problem. I will never recommend e dreams to anyone.”
“I’m extremely impressed with the professionalism and expertise of UNIQUE RECOVERY FIRM team. They took the time to understand my situation and crafted a recovery plan that worked. Their commitment and clear communication gave me peace of mind, and I’m thrilled to say they successfully helped me get my money back.”
“OMG what an awful company! They have taken ad hoc amounts out of my bank over the last year amounting to over £300, despite numerous emails and phones calls they have denied all knowledge of receiving these payments despite me sending screen shots of my bank statements proving it. I have also contacted my bank who confirms the payments have been made, I never even agreed to a prime membership in the first place! Yet again I have just spent over 3 hours on the phone to 5 different people and got nowhere, I am now contacting the ombudsman as this is theft!”
“Terrible service. They include you in a plan called Edrens Prime. They deduct money from your credit card without your authorization. It's difficult to cancel later. I had to change my credit card for this reason.”
“Never book a flight through eDreams. We mistakenly booked return tickets from London to Mallorca through eDreams. We are experienced travellers and have received the worst ever customer support. Our flights from Mallorca to London was cancelled and eDreams said nothing they could do. We purchased a new ticket with Jet2 to get back to London so we didn't miss our connecting flight back to Australia. Ryanair didn't want to deal with us because the booking was made through eDreams and eDreams said get you money back through Ryanair. eDreams will not help. We will never book through them ever and good luck to anyone who does.”
“I enrolled on to their prime membership whilst trying to book a flight through Ryanair’s website. I’m not really sure how I ended up with the memberships. I thought it was something Ryanair had outsourced.
Anyway, the reason I gave it 4 stars was because I have had big discounts when booking through them which has outweighed the £70 membership fee, just on the plane tickets alone. On my latest holiday I managed to book a car through them which only cost me a little over 100 quid! I’ve never had a car that cheap in Spain in August for a week. I don’t agree with the way I was enrolled but I’ve saved much more than the enrollment fee so I’m quite happy with it at the moment”
“I booked a simple flight from Málaga to Ibiza through eDreams, thinking it was a regular transaction. A few days later, I was shocked to see 110 CHF charged to my credit card with no explanation.
After digging through my emails, I realised I had been signed up for their Prime membership – without my consent, without clearly agreeing to anything. I never saw or confirmed any subscription.
I cancelled the membership immediately and contacted customer support, but they refused to refund the charge. They claim it’s “valid”, despite me never actively opting in.
Even my bank couldn’t reverse the charge, and eDreams showed zero accountability or goodwill.
This feels like a deliberate trap – their website design and booking process are misleading, and the Prime subscription is buried or pre-selected without clear notice. It’s incredibly disappointing and feels like a scam.
Avoid using eDreams if you value transparency and fair business practices.”
“This was my first and definitely last time booking through eDreams. I had a terrible experience and feel completely let down.I booked a ticket with Lufthansa through eDreams and had an issue with the name on the booking. I contacted multiple times— through online chat and by phone — and none of them were helpful. Every person I spoke to gave me a different answer, made empty promises, or just lied to me. It was clear they had no idea what they were doing. After days of frustration, I finally called Lufthansa directly. They were very polite and helpful, and they told me that eDreams should have contacted them directly to fix the issue — not me. Thankfully, Lufthansa resolved the issue and even apologized for how I was treated. Later, after I finished my job earlier than expected, I wanted to change my return date and come home sooner. I had paid extra for flexibility when I booked. I submitted the request — their system said it would be reviewed in 48 hours. After waiting, I got an automatic email telling me to contact the airline myself.
I was shocked. Why did I pay for flexibility if I had to fix everything myself? Again, I contacted eDreams and spoke to several different agents — but they all said something different and no one actually helped. They refused to change my date, even though I said I was willing to pay more. No support. No flexibility. Nothing but careless, copy-paste replies. This agency caused me stress, wasted time, and extra costs. Their service is unprofessional, unreliable, and completely disrespectful.
Don’t ever book with eDreams.
First time — and definitely the last time.
I do not recommend this company to anyone.”
“I received a marketing email offering a free 30-day trial of eDreams Prime, with the promise that I could cancel at any time within the trial period, no charges whatsoever. I signed up on January 26, 2025, used the service (including booking flights), but found it offered no real value to me.
On February 9, I requested to cancel the subscription. There was no way to cancel online — I had to call customer support, which was already a hassle. The agent confirmed the cancellation and told me I’d still have access until February 25. So far, so good.
But then, on May 16, I was charged £89.99 for a renewal I never approved. I contacted customer support again, but they were unhelpful and dismissive, claiming I had used the service in March — which is absolutely not true. I didn’t book anything after the cancellation.
What’s worse: you can’t remove your credit card from the platform unless you add a new one. This means I couldn’t even protect my payment info, and it honestly feels like I was set up to be charged again.
I feel deceived and taken advantage of. I demand a full refund.
If you’re considering signing up for eDreams Prime, think twice. This whole experience has been a nightmare.”
“I used it and then cancelled. But for some reason I was billed. So I rang them up and tried to get a refund and cancelled. After all the back-and-forth, they only gave me a 50% refund.
1 YEAR LATER
I wake up this morning, check my bank statements and find they've billed me again!
So I ring them up and they tell me they can't give me a refund. All they can do is give me a 50% refund. WHAT?!
This is the exact same scenario as last year. I cancelled, got billed and they refused a full refund.
This is actual fraud. I'm going to have to speak with my bank on how I can block this company and any of their companies.
1 entire year later and they're still giving me trouble. They just won't stop billing me. It's fraud.”
“Unable to cancel their prime membership, They lied about refunding it. The only way to cancel is to call by phone- and I have been calling for the last 3 hours!”
