I booked a simple flight from Málaga to Ibiza through eDreams, thinking it was a regular transaction. A few days later, I was shocked to see 110 CHF charged to my credit card with no explanation.
After digging through my emails, I realised I had been signed up for their Prime membership – without my consent, without clearly agreeing to anything. I never saw or confirmed any subscription.
I cancelled the membership immediately and contacted customer support, but they refused to refund the charge. They claim it’s “valid”, despite me never actively opting in.
Even my bank couldn’t reverse the charge, and eDreams showed zero accountability or goodwill.
This feels like a deliberate trap – their website design and booking process are misleading, and the Prime subscription is buried or pre-selected without clear notice. It’s incredibly disappointing and feels like a scam.
Avoid using eDreams if you value transparency and fair business practices.
