I booked a flight through eDreams and was automatically signed up for their Prime Membership, which costs £7.99 per month — something I didn’t knowingly opt into. I cancelled the membership via their website during the free trial, but was still charged the following month. When I called to query this, I was told I should have phoned to cancel, despite having used their online cancellation process.
