Fitbit's customer service is nothing short of disgraceful. I submitted a warranty claim for my Fitbit Charge 5 after the heart rate monitor consistely failed horrendously, and despite following every troubleshooting step, the issue persisted. My claim was submitted well within the warranty period and even approved, yet Fitbit has gone out of its way to deflect obstruct at every turn. Never in my life have I encountered such sheer incompetence and disrespect from a company. Fitbit's customer service team has wasted months of my time with blatant delay tactics, clearly hoping to run out the clock on my warranty. This is not mere negligence—it feels like an intentional, systematic attempt to avoid honoring their legal obligations. Finally they were backed into a corner and had to accept fault lies entirely with their product and process. Yet now they continue to ignore correspondence to finalise the replacement, sending incorrect shipping labels and dodging confirmation of when the replacement will be received. Their contradictory, dismissive, and evasive responses show an utter contempt for their customers and a shocking lack of professionalism. This behavior amounts to nothing less than warranty fraud. Fitbit's refusal to fulfill a confirmed warranty claim is a betrayal of trust and a violation of consumer rights. Their actions demonstrate that they have no intention of honoring their own policies, let alone treating their customers with basic decency. I am giving one final chance to resolve this issue immediately. If they fail to act, I will pursue every available legal avenue to hold them accountable for their appalling conduct. This is not just about a faulty product—it is about a company that refuses to stand by its commitments and treats its customers with utter disdain. Avoid Fitbit at all costs.
