Our puppies had diarrhea for 2 days right after we got them, so that pretty much wiped out the grass within 2 days. However, once their poo got firm enough, we realized the best way to get rid of it was to hold a paper towel in one hand and tip the box on the side with the other and let the poo fall into the paper towel. This saved us from ruining the grass by smashing said poo into it. Consider this a golden tip. I'm from Golden, Colorado. Oh, and our one Shih Tzu was completely potty trained in 3 days! We're still working with the other but she's getting it. :o)
