This seems like a super cool service and I can totally see it working for some people. I wanted to use it for a period of time during which I wanted to keep my dog off the sidewalk (there seemed to be a flea epidemic in my neighborhood and I wanted to keep her indoors for a while) and I put a FreshPatch on my roof deck, but she wasn't interested. She loves grass but it wasn't easy to train my very well housebroken dog to pee, even on the roof, even on grass. So probably good if it's something you'll do more than once. That's ALL my bad. The other thing, though, is that it came quite scrunched up towards on end of the box, like all the soil had packed together. I love that they send it so well watered - it's still alive after over a week!! - but it did make for a messy presentation when I received it and my dog, who enjoyed lounging on it, wound up quite dirty. I absolutely don't mind this, but if it had been a little less shaken during its sojourn from coast to coast it might have meant a little less clean-up. All around, I like it! Just don't love it.
