I have been with Hobbs for more than 10 years, but in the last two years, the company has undergone significant changes. I have the same experience as the customers below; the customer service is non-existent. You cannot just contact them. But there is another problem - returns. If you send the return to them, in many cases they don't register that - so you need to contact them, which is impossible :), and you need not to lose the proof of sending it back from the post. So many of my returns were never acknowledged and I have never received my money back. Today, I have discovered another problem. I returned a dress in April , and I received an email confirming my return and the return of the money with the special bar code of the transaction. So I had the feeling of success. I tracked everything well and made sure the return was successful. But I have just discovered I have never received the money back into my account. Today, I finally managed to get somebody via chat (on the phone I have been disconnected) and the lady just apologised that they forgot to transfer the money despite the e-mail. So I can advise only on in-shop returns, as postal returns are hugely vulnerable to "mistakes", and this is quite common practice. I have now identified four items which I sent back and never received confirmation of return and money back. My life is busy, and I cannot track every position of my order - I will just stop buying with them, unfortunately. However, it is just so sad that such a respected company in the past turned to such scam methods on their clients, unthinkable.
