Me and my daughter upgraded our phones to A54 in December 2023. In July/August 2024 I received an offer to upgrade again. As mobile data had been intermittent at best I decided to take the offer and upgrade to an A55. My daughter contacted ID customer service to ask why she didn’t get an upgrade and it seems that by mistake I had signed up for a new contract and I’ve been paying for 2 accounts ever since, one account for a number I know nothing about. I accept I should have checked my bank account more carefully but when I login to my ID account it shows the number I have always used and just one bill for each month. The upshot is that I have had to send back the A55 and buy another phone as I have sold the A54. The 2 accounts are hopefully being merged into one although having made numerous phone calls, live chat and emails, and getting different information each time I don’t have much hope. To add insult to injury, when I logged into my account this morning, a message flashed up asking if I would like an upgrade!!!
