Be very careful in Wetherspoons now.. If you pay by contactless card, they do not have a mobile payment machine only the static ones at the bar. My card was taken off me by staff and used to take payment at the bar.. I then realised that my card number AND the 3 digit pin number could be written down by ANYONE and they could have used it for fraud.... I will never give them my card EVER AGAIN.
