“We have visited The William Henry in Weymouth 3 times in about 4 months.
We were very impressed with the fast efficient service we received on every occasion from the manager (Scotty) and his team.
Drinks delivered in less than 4mins each times.
Staff clearing tables quickly and walking around making sure everything is OK
The manager (Scotty) is visible and supervising constantly.
He and his team are a true asset to Wetherspoons”
“We love weatherspoons but, the Three Magnets Letchworth is the best we have visited thus far. The staf especily deserve the highest of praise. Everything clean tidy, food great! and the price amazing. We attended 3.45pm 3rd March 2026.”
“I attended the Robert Nairn in Kirkcaldy , Fife , Scotland. I had a fabulous fish'n'chips meal and was served by a lovely lady called Zoe , Zoe was friendly and nothing was too much trouble for her , I'd give her 10 out 10 for customer service.”
“Great night with my son .good service very friendly bar staff.great prices which allows working man affordability to go out.thanks to all staff &tim martinfor having got it write for working class people.”
“I was having a bad day but only to be greeted by Faith at the bar. What a wee Wray of sunshine she was so polite and chirpy a total different contrast of other bar staff that work here. Thank you Faith”
“Terribly slow service today in barrow in Furness. Ordered 2 drinks and two breakfasts took over 15 minutes just to be given mugs and on serving the breakfast the bacon was as stiff as cardboard and the rest of the breakfast really dried up. Service and quality is just getting worse. Come about 4 times a month but unlikely to come again”
“Waited for 2 beers 45 minutes. Went to the till and they were very obnoxious saying it’s not ready. Went back in 10 more minutes and found order aside so I had to take it to my table. Very very disappointed”
“After visiting Wetherspoons in Beverly East Yorkshire yesterday all I can say is we were very dissatisfied. I placed the order at 10 .45 for 2 traditional breakfast's I wasn’t informed that there weren’t any eggs or we would have gone elsewhere as a couple who came in after us did. The tea and coffee machines weren’t working properly and a lot of people were complaining. I was informed there was a staff shortage but 30 minutes for a breakfast when you advertise a 10 minutes wait is beyond a joke.”
“The staff are friendly and they have the usual range of beers so far so good. Just don't order the food! For some reason Wetherspoon's regards getting their food out quickly above serving it hot. Another meal here spoilt by luke warm soggy chips, basically inedible.
Horrible food, can't blame the chef because Wetherspoon's seems to dictate that they must get the food out quickly at all costs.
I'm sure they could serve a hot meal if they tried.”
“I suffered an allergic reaction to a hidden ingredient not shown on menu. On contacting Weatherspoon customer service via email I was met with Arthur who dismissed me, he proceeded to inform me of cross contamination in the kitchen, he obviously did not have he’s listening ears on! I was making contact as to the seriousness of my allergy, he proceeded to inform me the case was closed but it is not closed. This is appalling customer service, in fact he behaved like he was Mr Weatherspoon.”
“Lemon chicken with coleslaw and salad, our chicken had lots of very small brocken bones in , it spoilt our meal and was quite a choke hazard. I did not finish my meal, I did tell the waitress but no-one came back to us. I was very dissapointed and will think again before returning.”
“Union rooms Plymouth bar staff need training on how to identify which customer is next to be served. Some seem too focussed on serving their friends rather than the next in the wue”
“I visit my very local Wetherspoons on Queensway in Bletchley twice a day, just about every day. It is simply put a 'no-brainer'. I am a disabled man living alone, in a bungalow just a stone's throw from the pub which used to be the 'Bletchley Arms'. Captain Ridley's Shooting Party, as so presently named, is my oasis in a grey ocean of loneliness, and so I am so glad that it is such a fine establishment. The staff are amazing, making you feel very welcome on each and every visit, and I am always impressed with not only their industry, but with their care for their customers, even when they are rushed off their feet. The management know what they are doing that much is clear quite quickly, and the atmosphere is always convivial and welcoming. It is a 'no-brainer' financially too, as I couldn't buy, store and cook most of the food on your menu for the prices. Breakfast and limitless coffee for less than a fiver?? That takes no thought on my part and so I enjoy your breakfasts every day. Keep doing what you're doing Wetherspoons, as if all your establishments are equally excellent you simply can't fail to succeed and to grow. I can't reccomend you highly enough, so a five star review from me.”
“Morning shift 13th October 2024 10am
One vile nasty member of staff can ruin a whole pubs experience. He went out of his way to be awkward, stepping in front of people, rolling his eyes, snapping at questions, commenting on private conversation and even making a thinly veiled threat
4 bar/floor staff on today. All guys.... 3 absolute darlings one didn't want to to be there and treated everyone with a ghastly attitude. Not sure where the accent was from but not UK. The other e were all British accents
The other 3 days of our trip were wonderful and visited each day for drinks and/or a meal.... the lady bar supervisor on 11th and 12th was great and her crew brilliant.
One BAD apple definitely ruins a pubs vibe
I run 2 "meet up" group and use various venues (even your hotels). Never had a bad thing to say before”
