After taking and paying for the meals, we are informed that only ONE meal is available, so refunded 3 to re-order. I thought I was the lucky one!!!
NO. I can honestly say, it was the worst dinner I have ever had.
One tiny carrot, no pigs in blankets, and mashed potatoes that had such a thick skin over it, I had to chew it! Dry turkey, which was awful.
We were at Old Street branch table 11.
After the meal, I ordered another bottle of wine ( it was our Xmas meal together!). I told a member of staff how disappointed I was with my meal, and she said.."sorry about that, but I never served it"
Just not good enough and we won't be back not be recommending you either. A real disappointment!!”
“Today I had a Tennessee burger at the King of Wessex. The burger its self was very dry.
Yesterday I had a burger in the Jolly Sailor this was also very dry.
Normally they are good so has the burgers supplier changed?”
“I know Wetherspoons Manager have the right to refuse people and kick them out for no reason because they are a license holder that ridiculous. I seen rude mens shouting and abusive behaviour but they don’t get kicked out. But what I don,t understand Is I got mistake and identity at horley Wetherspoons I was not in watherspoon 8 oct I went to see abba in London I got proof . I got kicked out for no reason on 9 oct because I was supposedly Abusive. behaviour on 8 oct which I never did as was not at the pub atll. The pink hair girl manager and chef go to manager I thought you said She was they On 8 oct which I was not atll. I was there two weeks ago in Horley Wetherspoons she never kicked me out than. They making stories up about me which I think it’s very unfair Wetherspoons Head office got to changed their policy of the license holder that they can’t kick people out for no reason because it’s not fair. Disability discrimination act in 2010 as I have learning disabilities autistic and Mental Health that really damages a person and affects them. I can’t do nothing about it I can’t talk to them because they’re refuse to listen to me and I can’t come in there or they would call the police on me so not worth it. And that was my nearest Wetherspoons. They for CTV footage shows them I’m not they 8 oct.They are practically accusing me of hitting staff and the Manager and the women chef I do not physically do violence of any kind I don’t believe in violence it’s wrong.. I’ve talked to the head office watherspoon they no help.”
“Been sitting over an hour in Wetherspoons, Street, waiting for our food. Whist waiting I read Wetherspoons News saying they got No. 1 for hygiene, can I suggest they check there is toilet paper in the toilets then. Btw still waiting for our food ……….”
“Been to marina branch in Brighton afew times now food has really grown be down hill last time we had chicken & chips the chicken was watery the chips were like rubber we went today 6/10/22 had a curry which was tasteless the onion bahgee was freezing cold the poppadoms were soggy the samosers were rock hard complained about was just told oh sorry about no offer of refund or anything it's disgusting”

“I visit the Brockley Barge at least once a week sometimes more, i have to say in general most of the staff are so friendly and helpful not grumpy like a lot of other wetherspoons, it feels so nice and relaxing for me there and the Manager is a credit to the company such a great guy , food and drink are not bad either 😊”
“Ruthin Wales wetherspoons. Fish watering n batter brittle no flavour & thin. Chips hard. Peas overcooked. Chicken burger dry. Service was dump & go. Didn't even check we had the correct meals or ask if we wanted anything else. I asked where the cutlery sauces were, when I manged to track someone down, who over her shoulder told me over there! Did bother stopping! This has to be the worst meal for wetherspoons disgusting”
“Visited Thomas Botfield Telford 1/08/22 as we often do.
Very limited menu ,no steak, no mixed grill etc and NO PRICES ON MENU! Spoke to waitress, no apology! Just " We have a reduced menu". Not surprised few people in there.
Left and found a better choice. Won't be returning!”
“Barmaid was talking to another customer, her friend whilst serving me. I asked for cash back which I got. I asked for £30. She gave me a 20 and a ten. I asked if could have 3 tens. Reply was no I've shut my till. Then carried on talking to her m8. Found her to be rude. Didn't care. Normally get fantastic service but she let them down.”
“Very disappointed to be turned away from sitting outside Wetherspoons Teighnmouth with 2 disabled elderly (93 and 88 year old) because we had 1 small well behaved dog with us. We had hoped to have lunch but were told we couldn't.”
“Visited the scarsdale at Beighton today. Not busy but had to queue to get served. Long bar but inadequate bar staff. Manager collecting glasses instead of running a bar. Asked for a cider got a lager instead. Very poor serve.”
