Ordered a wardrobe and advised re delivery date, which was stated on the receipt, 10 days later to the store (I acknowledge on the receipt it did say Exp) After a few days after the delivery date had gone by, I contacted the store by phone in Stockport, as I had to sort a friend with a van to pick it up, the adviser said I should not have been given this date and it was the stores fault, he said they should not have given you that date and it was going to be a further 10 days before it got to store and even then it might be delayed. No text or tracking, giving me an update, and it is up to the customer to chase. I am astounded that a firm as big as this does not give you tracking or a text if it is going to be delayed. I went directly into the store to see if I could get an exact date or up to date information, this is when I saw first hand the customer service side! The young lady (Sadie) was so patronising and rude, basically saying it is not our fault and could not give me a date when it would be in. If she had apologised and spoke to me in an appropriate manner I would have accepted this, however, her tone and explanation made me immediately ask for a refund, after processing the refund, she said in a patronising voice, have a nice day! It is clear from reading the other reviews, delivery times are an issue for your company, but also your store staff need to be trained on basic customer service. I regularly buy from this Stockport store but not again. I have since gone to Ikea and just bought a wardrobe that I could take away the same day, waiting such a long time for delivery in a store this big is not good business sense!
