Last Wednesday I visited Lidl at Harold Wood. I purchased a beef roasting joint costing £8.69. On preparing lunch Sunday for three, the joint looked really nice when cooked. However, on trying to eat the beef it was inedible, it was like chewing shoe leather and we all said the same.
Lidl' sell this as a roasting joint but it comes from the rump and has much sinu. Why don't Lid'l sell better roasting beef like Topside and not Top Rump. Had to throw away a plate of beef left over.
