Chef Select family size steak and gravy pie. Cooked well in Airfryer. Pie looked great. Four hungry people to feed. Cut open pie and the smell was horrible and odd. I was the only one who tried it, didn't taste bad a little chewy but typical of this price point. Second mouthful was just gristle and inedible. I gave the rest of the filling to our dog who ate it all happily, but he is a labrador. Have to say I usually buy the small individual frozen meat pies in Lidl and they have been fine. I won't buy these again.

Great staff. Always seem relaxed and happy. I'm not bothered by the lack of brand names, and I love SOME of the featured weeks. Can't bear the US week or the XXL weeks

Bought the Greek filo pastry mince and chicken pie. Totally tasteless. If you could find the filling!!. Worst food item I have bought from Lidl.

I’m not a happy shopper , I got to get pack of strawberries for free with the app only to find when I got home the lady had put one item through twice . Instead of strawberries for free they ended up costing me 35p . The item she put through twice was an item costing £1.99 diddled!, not happy at all

So many products are sooooo salty! Yak! We have chucked so much stuff away, chorizo, pitta breads, pre cooked chicken, pizza, meatballs to name a few.... Will definitely not be shopping at Lidl again... Cheaper or not! It's no good if it's inedible!

Peckham store. Usual rude staff but most Dores have rude unprofessional staff, rarely do u get great staff at Lidl. Sainsbury's much much better staff, very professional, polite and happy to assist customers, as their reputation is extremely important.

Lidl produce is generally OK but any local store I go into always has the same problem. The hand and pull along baskets are, without fail, always dirty. No one wants to put food in a filthy basket and that is one area you really must improve on.

Just purchased a Parkside Jigsaw Table, can’t believe anyone did a risk assessment as it’s dangerous considering taking it back but I’m certain it will be more trouble than it’s worth

Lildl why am I unable to purchase a packet of XXXL Paprika Crisp as advertised in your leaflet dated 24/4/25 to 30/4/25? I was told that they are the same as Snaktastic Paprika Crisps. Definitely not. 👎

I shop at Lidi Wilford Nottingham and find the staff very pleasant but last week one young man went beyond the call of duty as I broke down in the car park On feeling upset went into the store because of incurring car parking fees he not only calmed me down but took me home so I could get help,He is always nice and as I am elderly I appreciate his kindness to me Rita Abbott

I love the Lidl high protein range of desserts and the Chef Selection High Protein ready meals, however, I tried the Chicken Shawarma and OMG, it is the worst thing I have ever tasted in my 60 years on earth! It's like eating a bowl of salt! Absolutely disgusting. Tried to upload pic but won't let me.

Never normally write reviews but have to warn don't part with £2.49 of your hard earned money on the chilled Butter Chicken Curry with rice, it's tasteless, watery and a complete waste of money, and quite honestly the worst 'microwave meal' I've ever had ! it might as well be vegan Chicken because the chicken tastes of absolutely nothing! Many years ago I worked for the Co op headoffice and was part of a 'taste test' group, I would strongly suggest that Lidl do the same ? If you already have a taste test group then sack them ! This ready meal is disgusting.

We went to Lidl in Minehead, Somerset. Amongst other things we bought one bag of (six) Breamar apples and two nets of "satsumas". When we arrived home and unpacked, two of the apples were badly bruised (cut them in half and the bruise was all the way through) and the "satsumas" were extremely difficult to peel and were as dry as anything once peeled. From now on we will not buy any fruit or vegetables in Lidl, we will go to Tesco which is much better value for money.

It did not. Greek week. Asked assistant where the tinned black olives were. He called a superior. Response: no tinned olives. How disappointing and a very sharp response. No customer TLC.

Lidl IS A good shop but I have a complaint about the shelves .They have food so high up on shelves you have to pass,, ' as they are hard to reach. I end up going elsewhere for many items

I’ve Emailed them to tell them several times that their meat . Pizzas and some furniture and vegetables are rotten . This happens too often which leads me to think that the staff are too stretched to put their fresh produce deliveries away on time . So the produce goes off quicker or is off at the time of purchase . This time is was the mouldy celery which my wife noticed before we ate it
