“Ernie in the Harrogate, Knaresborough Road store was fantastically helpful today. He went above and beyond with customer care. He helped mum and I find the greenhouse we were looking for. He gave great advice about securing it and recommended a potting table that will fit inside. He helped me navigate the Lidl app with patience when it hadn't loaded. His patience, professionalism, kindness and help made our shopping trip an absolute pleasure. He restored our faith in custimer service with traditional values. Thank you Ernie!”
“I would like to recommend LIDL hairspray. When I made the purchase it was because
I couldn't go shopping for my usual one which is much more expensive. The first
time I used it I was amazed how fine the spray was, and the results were exactly
as it said on the can, and more.
I bought my first hair spray from Woolworths in 196 it made your hair very stiff, it was sold in plastic squeezy bottles, which had to be used very carefully. I have used a lot of makes of hair lacquer/spray over the years but I will be definetly sticking to CIEN.

“Needed help setting up Lidl plus registration as been having issues for weeks and couldn't solve the problem. I got help from a store manager called Fabio in the Clapham Junction branch [Falcon Lane) who was amazing. Patient, kind, helpful, experienced. He sorted the problem and I was very happy with having finally got lidl plus on my phone. If only all staff and managers in stores and shops were like him I would be delighted! “I shop at Lidl five times a week because I live nearby and my children love fresh baked goods like long rolls and doughnuts. Shopping is quick and enjoyable thanks to the friendly service. I also have the option to withdraw cash at the store, which is a huge plus for me. Although the store isn't huge, you can buy almost everything there, from food to tools, clothes, and household items like vacuum cleaners, bedding, and more.”
“I don't understand why there are so many bad reviews here. Don't happy Lidl shoppers bother to review? I'm sure that there are hundreds of thousands of them just like me. I don't get the opportunity to go to Lidl very often but I downloaded the Lidl app last week and got the bus to Stamford, Lincs last Thursday. I loaded my basket with all of my favourite items but got in a bit of a muddle with the app when I got to the checkout. The young lady assistant was so very kind and helpful and helped me to claim a free jute shopping bag and get discount on two fruit items. I was so pleasantly surprised by the way she treated me. So unusual to have a human on the checkout in most supermarkets these days, let alone such a lovely one. Hang onto her, Lidl and please give her a pay rise.”

Clean, always full and staff are happy (which goes a long way if the customer like me see the staff happy in their job) got my weekly shop this morning and it makes my day. Two years ago this place was awful! Whoever has turned it around congratulations!! Would not shop anywhere else in town now! Well done Haverhill lidl (nice to see some good here)!!”
“Out of all the Lidl stores in my local area, Halesowen stands out as the best. Why? The staff work hard to ensure the bakery is stocked ready for opening time. The appearance of the shelves and aisles is neat. The variety of produce and non food offers is good - e.g. I rarely find Comice pears yet they have them. The staff are helpful and friendly. They even checked the storeroom for some crisps not yet on the shelf, that I was looking for, with success.
Of course, there are occasions when they are short-staffed or the stock isn't out yet but they work hard and try their best to get it right. It doesn't give frustrated customers the permission to be rude to staff which I have witnessed at times.”
