“Doing my shopping today ( 4th November ) l had the pleasure of being served by a young lady called Maddie. She greeted me with a lovely smile, to say she was a delight is an understatement. l had forgotten my phone so she added my phone number so l got my points. Please pass on my thanks for making my shopping trip enjoyable!.”

“I have noticed within the last 2 years prices are creeping up, I went shopping 2 weeks ago and realised prices have gone up again. I tend to buy the same items each time to notice the price change. I’m now getting money off offers 10% or 15% off here or there but think they’re pulling the wool over their loyal customers by upping the price & then offering special offerers!! We are NOT stupid. If it was not for their loyal customers who shop there every week the supermarket would never had thrived like it does today!! I hope the rest of the public agree. I certainly feel deceived by Lidl who advertise on their lowest price guaranteed-NOT!!”

“Lidl garden shredder motor seized during use. To be fair had done a lot of work. New replacement sent immediately. Outstanding customer service.”

“Just had my 1st lidl donut delicious Light not doughy and not covered in sugar granules but with caster sugar. Bought from Mayflower Basildon. Like the idea you can buy individually along with other items in the bakery section. Also had small baguettes for lunch again fresh and soft along with the doughnuts would still be a fresh tomorrow 👍”

“Lidl frozen schnitzels: Albeit pork they are as good as, or better than, the schnitzels that I have had in Austria, Switzerland and Germany and I have lived in two of those countries and consumed a lot of schnitzel. Served with half a lemon and a load of salad. Will buy again. I don't usually write reviews but felt compelled to voice my feelings about your schnitzel. Vielen Dank.”
