One of the incentives using lidl is the 10% discount on your next shop once you have spent £250.00 in a given month. The problem with this is that the offer expires after 7 days. I have already spent over £250.00 in December, but won't do another major shop until after Christmas, but this offer expires on 24th December. Its just not an incentive, and should apply to my next shop irrespective of when I do it. Most of lidl's other incentives have the same problem.

It was my first time at that local branch in Great Yarmouth as I never been in there. I found goods with brilliant price and I liked the fresh bakery. Sone products cost higher than other budget shop. And I was disappointed when at till I was charge a lot. Being curious I checked the receipt and unfortunately I was charge extra £9. And it would be OK if the cashier had apppologised, however they, cashier and the other one who came to do return, were acting like it was me who making discomfort for them. I don't know why this treatment to customer who makes a profits for their employer and secure their job?! Also, I have not got a receipt on refund. I think I should had received it in my hands as I got my refund onto my bank account.

I decided to try Lidl for the first time. I brought mixed red and green seedless grapes with good dates on. I opened them within the hour and my granddaughter and I ate some red and some green. They were over ripe and mushy and you just had to spit them out, didn’t taste like grapes at all. There is no comparison with other supermarket grapes which are fresher, bigger and plumper. Poor show Lidl. I wonder where on earth you get them from and how you store them. I was warned by my daughter that Lidl’s fruit and veg lasts only a day but I thought I would try for myself. She was right. Back to Tesco for me.

The branch in Tottenham Court Rd. was shameful: on every category, the low cost items for which one comes to the store was not stocked, so there was no point coming into the store at all.

Not a single staff member on the aisles. I wanted to check the price of an item which showed no price but left without buying it since no one could help me.

Why do I get emails telling me of offers, when I am in the shop you are unable to get a signal. Surely Nectar and other loyalty cards have a higher success rate. The most frustrating thing is to stand in a queue waiting to be served whilst the customer being served attempts to get a signal. Try to improve something, ignoring it doesn't mean it's gone away.

I recently purchased a carton of Newgate gravy granules and was so disappointed with this product I ended up throwing it out, not only was there no flavour but the granules themselves only partly dissolved leaving gravy still thin and lumpy.

Lidl used to be my favourite. Yesterday I went to the Swansea Parc Tawe store and manged only a 2 out of 7 fulfilment. That's the worst in any supermarket ever for me. Large areas of empty shelves, many lines out of stock or disappeared, tins of peas spread across 3 shelf sections to disguise other missing items. This the new store and it has been a disappointment from the day it opened, bleak and unfriendly with a poor fulfilment record. I spoke to a staff member "It's due to Covid". Really, well it ain't happening in Tesco, Sainsbury or Aldi so I don't believe that. It feels like a new Financial team insisting on faster stock turn or some similarly unsuitable management policy change. I tried to post a feedback on their website. Their feedback page crashed my browser. No surprise there then.

Lidl stores are too slow in serving customers. Self service tills are desperately needed. Staff never smile or acknowledge you.

I bought a garden hose recently and thinking that I wouldn't have s problem with it I threw away the receipt. Unfortunately the connector didn't fit my tap and I am unable to get my money back. Be careful what you buy!

Lucky if you get deals that are offered and ask staff who are really rude and unhelpful and store is a complete mess compared to Scotland that is clean and well stocked

Lidl is my “to go” shop every week. Never been experiencing “big” issues , usual gaps in availability , long queues- I understand all that in the current times. But what happened to being kind? Recently the staff has changed in my local Lidl In Ockendon and two members are particularly arrogant. I wish I’d know they names cause going there every week I see that it’s not an occasional accidental rudeness they show it’s the way the are. Indian guy always restocking shelves, so so rude and arrogant. He’ll push you , your trolley without a single word. Once thought it was and accident , second time I ignored him, but now again this is just out of order? I work in retail myself and this person clearly shouldn’t be there as clearly he is just hating it and takes it on people. Another “dream worker” is the slim girl on the till with the messy pony tail- she normally restocks meat and then she’s on till most of the time. You can tell her hello as much as you want , I go extra mile to try and make a small talk as it is just awkward, common, girl you gotta provide a basic hello and goodbye to people. I understand Lidl is affordable but does this now mean we can be treated like rubbish? Those two really making me not want to come back to my local store. Everyone else are lovely especially the security and tall gentleman on till (i think his name is Steven) Dear Lidl please provide some basic training on customer service to your team. 👍

My valentines lilies never opened up. They have died before they have bloomed and the buds have just dropped off! Very disappointed.

This is nothing to do with the staff or store, it's too do with the with your vegetable lasagna, it's like the monster from the black lagoon and you would need to have covid 19 too eat it. Please excuse the sarcasm

Ihave shopped at lidls for a number of years, but I will be moving ,not only their indifference to senior citizens without a smart phone who therefore cannot take advantage of any money off offers, but also because Icannot understand why they have to stock the shelves when the shop is open making very difficult to social distance. This should be done out of opening hours

Lidl Plus is Useless. Had a two pound voucher on my Lidl Plus which disappeared after about 24 hrs. Emailed them and had to send a load more details, eventually £2 voucher was reinstated, but no word or explanation from Lidl. Then I got another £2 voucher and a £1 Scratchcard, took them all into store did about £50 of shopping and tried to redeem them....didn't work - I was told it was my network provider! As there was only a few days left on the vouchers I was passing lidl the next day, so went in to spend my £5 voucher, picked up 4 x bottles of beer at £1.25, and thought that would do nicely, queued at the till and was told "for a start you can't spend vouchers on alcohol" (regardless of the fact that I had purchased £50 of groceries the previous day and still had the receipt). Determined to spend my £5 I then went and bought just over £5 of dog treats, but alas when I got them to the till and tried to "activate" my vouchers I was told that each voucher had to be spent on an individual shop! "Ahah!" says I, "I will split my shop and make 3 purchases"..."Well yes, that's ok, but it might be complicated so I'll get someone else to deal with you" Finally got sorted but from start to finish the whole process has been a nightmare, luckily for me Aldi is only a couple of hundred yards from Lidl, think I will be shopping there more in future, and judging by the pre-christmas shoppers in each store I think I'm am not the only one feeling that way. Note to Lidl...if you are going to run some kind of customer loyalty scheme you won't get customer loyalty by making the scheme so difficult to use that it puts customers off...and certainly don't put customers in a position where they are embarrassed by your shop staff when trying to use the scheme!

The Lidl Plus App is a good idea in theory, but there are too many restrictions, making it very frustrating to use.

The shop prices are very good, however don’t try and contact them about a complaint or wrong pricing. Twice the check out machine that adds up your shopping for the month was not working, the first reply was, You have to receipt put against your account, you can use a old receipt, what a muppet! Do they have school kids doing they replies. 🤡
