I shop at Lidl, Aldi, Tesco or Morrison’s. The nearest store is Lidl. Good value but the fruit and vegetables are shocking. Avocados - will never buy again as always bruised / inedible. I’ve just thrown away a mango as bruised / brown skin (wasn’t cheap). Carrots thrown away. Whoever is in charge / buyer / QC for this section needs to be moved on.

Prices are good but then you get to the till and every single cashier practically throws your shopping at you! Last visit an elderly lady in front was struggling to keep up and the cashier starting scanning my shopping whilst the poor lady was putting hers away. Cashiers are like robots, no personality, zero customer service and treat customers with contempt. Every store I’ve been in they are the same. Is this really the price we should pay for a few pence off our weekly shop!!

Pop into the Salisbury branch on the 27/04/2019. There was large pallets of food on shop floor , staff moving pallets around the shop floor and the floor area around the back of the tills had water and dirt on the floor. This’s all looked like a very dirty unkept shop.

I visit my local store in LEEDS Amberton road at least three time per week. I have mentioned to at least 2 managers and the security staff on site that disable parking bays are constantly being used by none disabled users. Bays are being occupied by non disabled persons (or not showing the entitlement to use the bays by displaying their blue badge) the answer was we can't monitor the bays because we are very busy I will ask the security people to have a little wander out if they see anything ,(the security staff are quite happy just to stand in the store out of the cold and when i have pointed outto them people abusing the bays ,it has prompted no action from them . The last manager i spoke to which was yesterday 15/02/2019 he told me we don't own the land so the car parks are nothing to do with us (quite different answer from Lidl customer services (Dough)apparently car parks are theirs but he's answer was "we are a very busy discount store and we don't have the time to police the parking ,we rely on the honesty of the customers to not use the bays if they aren't entitled to do so, however i will pass it on to senior management the same with the toilets " the reason he mentioned the toilets is because i have asked now and at for at least two moths about the public and disabled toilets which have been closed off out of action. They now have had display shelving put over the doorways, When i asked the managers and i have asked security when the toilets are likely to be repaired i get the answer, they will be fixed when they send someone and i was told to contact their customer services which i did yesterday, The experience was a bit better than the one in the store but the underlying feeling i got from all concerned was one of not interested

Lidl bermondsey SE8. Store dirty with frozen and fresh food left around the store. Nobody collecting the food and putting back in to the cabinets. No trolleys, all have been stolen. Staff are useless, so is the management. Store needs a good clean.

Lidl could save themselves some money by removing the hammer at the end of the "mini cheese bakes" production line. The customer would get 100% whole biscuits and Lidl would save the cost of smashing about 30% of the biscuits into bits!

Ditched Ocado for a month to try and save money. Tried Asda, the price was good, but some of the goods we're not. So I then tried shopping in Lidl. Prices were exceptional, but the food was worse than Asda. Limited range, dry, cardboard tasting, lacking flavour. There seemed to be no pride in the product, only the price. I am back to Ocado. Sorry, but this saving a few quid is not worth it.

I visited the shop in Chichester and asked to use the toilets. They were NOT clean!! Certainly wouldn't have expected this from a food supermarket!

I can only give two stars because of the not very good quality of their food items in all their stores. However, I need to state that they are ten times better than Aldi, who are likely to close their Dover store due to the massive new Lidl down where B&Q were, possibly still are. They are due to close though. Oh, and in Lidl you are not rushed along like you are in Aldi with their absolutely dreadful anti elderly checkouts.

Customer service took many weeks to investigate my purchase of 'wraps' which were mouldy and inedible and eventually simply gave me my money back despite ruining teatime meal.

Checkout assistants in HARTLEPOOL are shocking. I accept they want people through the checkout process asap, but this store is ridiculous. I've stopped shopping there because my 80 year old mother get tutted at for being too slow. Between we used to spend 150 a week in this shop. Started using Morrisons, as they don't throw your groceries into your trolley. Lidl -if you want quick checkout put some self service ones in ALL your stores.
