As a kid I loved McDonald’s and it was a treat for us to get any of it. As a young adult it was still decent food. Then my kids wanted it all the time and I got tired of it. Then Covid hit and now it just sux really bad. I don’t know if every location does this or not but I really hope not. My local McDonald’s has started putting salt and pepper on all of the hamburgers and it’s aweful. I guess they didn’t take into account that some people are allergic to pepper and a lot of people can’t have salt because of health issues. I asked one of the cashiers when they started putting salt and pepper on all the burgers and she said that they’ve always done it, I said no ma’am you haven’t this is something you just started in the last year. It sux so bad. All I can taste is the salt and pepper. Now if you don’t want that on your food you have to tell them not to put salt and pepper on it. If you forget to do that then you’ve just wasted a lot of money because not only does the food suck the price has really gone up too. What’s the deal with the steak egg and cheese bagel. Since Covid all of a sudden we couldn’t get it anymore. Now it’s back and only got a limited time…(WTF)! There was a garlic cheese burger or chicken sandwich that only came out once and I absolutely loved it. Just like the McRib that only comes out once or twice a year, (WHY)! It’s ridiculous the stuff that’s really good and really sells, you only have for a limited time. You would think that if it sells that good you would keep it around. The problem with McDonald’s is that there are no options. It’s the same old BS every day. And if the salt and pepper shakers are really to blame for too much salt and pepper on the food then get shakers with fewer smaller holes. If McDonald’s were in a restaurant war, they would be the first one out. So very dissapointed with all restaurants but especially with McDonald’s. Come on people you can do better!
