Is it illegal for false advertising? So on the drive through, it advertises a meal deal for £2.79. When I order it says it’s 2.98. They say they can’t do anything about it. Customer services says it’s an app only deal (it doesn’t say this anywhere). In my business shall I do a big sign to say Mot’s for a fiver. When they come to pay I’ll charge them normal price. I’ll say it’s because they have to have a sign on their car to say McDonalds do false advertising to get the offer. It’s not the money Maccy D’s, it’s the principle!!
