Mcdonalds Used to be, (in the 70s 80s!) & could be now, so good, and sometimes are, but rarely. Am I the only one that finds their food barely warm? Never HOT! It used to (many years ago) be HOT! I used to keep complaining but it’s like talking to an arrogant robot computer dodo and they are extinct! Most of the staff in my wide experience, and especially Stanmore middx. and Colindale nw9 are miserable/ borderline rude so and so’s . A lot of it is due to the lack of CLEAR English understanding/speaking, especially nuance & expression etc; but what I find annoying is that I often can tell that the person taking my order has not understood me, and frankly I can barely understand them. Then they often have the cheek to show bad attitude towards me! Then when you ask that they do not do that, you just get more BAD attitude and BAD customer service. This proves to me that they have NO fear of reprimand by managers nor senior managers! Example, my order, today (Colindale nw9 drive thru), 09:13:17/Sund/10/March/19, is carefully narrated by me to the person taking my order. I said sausage, egg, & cheese bagel please. I say it that way as iv said it the way they say it sausage egg bagel before, and ended up with no cheese! Then have all that palaver of trying to reverse back but there are customers in the way, so having to park, walk back & inside queue up or have gip with queue’rs by going up to the desk. Anyway, when I finally got it after being told to drive over there and wait, I find that this time there’s no sausage in it, but yet they had still charged me the exorbitant full price and I had Clearly asked for sausage. I went thru all the grief to go back, the stroppy faced and stroppy voiced woman came, I told her what happened, she didn’t like it one bit, no smile no nice voice saying sorry, just some rubbish about I got what I ordered. I told her no, I asked for sausage like I always do. With the same stroppy face, and with no further comment, she turned her back on me and walked off, came back later and held out her arm toward me with a bag with replacement, no conversation nothing. I started to inquire about her attitude, but had to give up due to her Ignorant Rude uncustomer service like ramblings and left. Mcdonalds really have given up on training the customer facing people, many are miserable snidy and rude, & useless at their job. It worries me what they do to the food when you complain, cos if they can get away with being inefficient and rude they can get away with spitting in the food. I would also like to know what measures are Not in place to make sure food prep people keep their hands washed constantly???????????????????, and to stop them contaminating the food of customers they dont like?????????????????????????????? None I suspect, other than mentioning it once when they start, if that. Oh by the way, I have met a few Really nice people on the desks, but they are outweighed Massively by the BAD ones! Also mcdonalds purposely make it hard to complain, get a refund/proper compensation, or to properly deal with complaints by just doing a survey on the receipt then giving you a very low value “compensation” that they earn off anyway, that’s how they plan it. mcdonalds make sure your people are smiling and friendly and efficient can speak and understand English properly and make Sure the food reaches the customer HOT.
