The Custom Rod building kit that supplements holding the fly rod while wrapping the guides did not work AT ALL. The threads on the "spool holder" never came close to to tightening and subsequently did not achieve the purpose it was designed for. I resorted to the "Book Method" for tension and it worked great!! save yourself some $$$ and don't order this product.
