I ordered an item from Optics Planet but unfortunately I had to return the item.
Optics Planet gave me a store credit for the returned item which at the time was OK since there was another item I wanted to purchase. I ordered the 2nd item from Optics Planet but the delivery date on the item was a moving date, every time the estimated shipping date got close, the estimated shipping date was changed.
I canceled the order because the item never shipped. Again I was given a store credit. I purchased a 3rd item from Optics Planet, but the same thing happened, the shipping date kept moving and the item never shipped.
I canceled the order again.
I was issued another store credit.
This time I contacted customer service. After a several hour wait they called me back. I told the rep I didn’t need anything else from them and I did not want a store credit. I wanted my money refunded.
The rep said he would take care of it.
My account is still showing a store and no refund has been made.
I am trying to contact customer service again. If you do need to contact their customer service, be sure you have 3 or 4 hours of free time to wait for a call back.
Bottom line is, worst company I ever did business with.
