The website listed a specific price for delivery by a specific day (the Friday before Mothers Day). The item was dispatched late and arrived late, which meant the gift couldn’t be given to the recipient in time.
Photobox said the order was not late because the delivery date (and price) quoted was not a promise.
I understand delays happen, but trying to wriggle out of it using the terms and conditions is rude. Do better.
