Placed order for a Tv , told delivery date would be 8th Sept only to be told a day later that there was a 14 day delay on this item. When I said I would cancel the order that day, was then told it would be another 3 working days for the supplier to confirm I could cancel , then another 3-5 working days for funds to go back into my acc. So all in all , through no fault of my own , it’s going to take around 2 weeks to get my money back before I can go out & look for another tv from a more reliable company. Compensation for the delay - a 10% discount voucher to spend on my next purchase - not likely. Ps Robert Dyas - do not put delivery dates on purchases if you know the supplier doesn’t have the stock.
