Extremely Disappointed – Avoid SilkFred SilkFred is not a company I would ever recommend. Despite advertising a two-week refund policy, it took them three months to process refunds for two separate items. One of those delays resulted in a £90 late payment fee on my credit card — for a £45 item. When I contacted SilkFred to understand what went wrong, they blamed a warehouse change and "operational issues." However, they offered no apology, no compensation, and no accountability. Instead, they expected me to accept their internal problems and became rude and sarcastic in their responses. This is a clear breach of their own refund policy and arguably of the Consumer Rights Act. The lack of customer service and accountability is shocking. Avoid this retailer unless you're prepared to be ignored, blamed, and penalised for their failures.
