Dachstein wool caps are excellent quality. Large fits me snug enough to not fall off spontaneously (my hat size 7 1/8); extra large fits over wife's hairdo with ease. For anyone's info: laid flat the large measures 10 inches and the xtralarge measures 11 inches across (inside measure). This translates to about 20 and 22 inches circumferences. We have enjoyed the purchase. In Alaska at 30 below zero these are WARM.
