I just received my 5th pair of Dachstein mittens. These have the leather palm/thumb. The craftsmanship, like the previous 4 pair is out standing. Two of my 5 pair are the 4 ply. I've spent 3+ hours clearing snow with my snow blower and my hands did not get cold! the 4 ply are so dense they are almost totally water proof. I recommend Sweater Chalet to my friends for all woolen products. One can't go wrong trading at Sweater Chalet.
