I ordered a blood pressure monitor urgently needed by my wife. On its arrival at the East London depot we could not access the QR code and the attendant would not release it even with my proven I.D.
There is no customer care phone no. on their website, you have to Google the company to find it.
After waiting an eternity on the phone the first attendant promised to phone me back...she did not!
The second attendant promised that the first would phone me back and she did not
A third attendant emailed with a totally irrelevant question.
This is so pathetic when all the while I could simply pick up my parcel with an I.d.
Looks like Takealot is trying to be too smart with its "QR" codes but is failing miserably to apply pure logic, human courtesy and honesty!
