Alison and Sarah at the Scunthorpe store were extremely helpful when a gift card I had purchased for a friend at Xmas had been lost. Sarah informed me that customer service would be able to help and gave me the telephone number- luckily I was able to find my receipt with proof of purchase, they were able to freeze the card and Alison was able to issue me with a new gift card.
