Having placed an order via click and collect and receiving text message to say goods are ready to collect. I was somewhat miffed as to why when I made the 20min journey to the branch to pick up items,I was told goods were not in stock and that a refund would be made( still waiting for said refund). Why could they not have sent me a text to advise me of this before I made the journey or indeed why did they say goods were in stock in the first place. This is poor service in my view. Surely this cannot be blamed on Covid 19.Staff incompetence or maybe their stock system needs an overhaul? Either way very disappointed with Toolstation.
