I got scammed for 290$. I sold a Burberry trench coat with Vestiaire, it arrived to the buyer without any problem and the buyer paid the app. However my payment was not coming through, so I reached out asking if there’s a problem. Apparently my bank account was deemed “unreliable”. Vestiaire started demanding photos of my government ID a utility bills. I was uncomfortable with providing such sensitive information, however, after endless attempts of resolving the issue over email, where most of Vestiaires responses were automated emails completely missing the point of any of my remarks, requests or questions, I gave in and sent photos of my ID. That was over 2 months ago and I still haven’t received any of my money or an explanation. I have reported the situation to the European consumer centre, however, it seems Vestiaire is refusing to cooperate even with them. Therefore, seller experience was literally criminally bad. Cannot recommend.
