The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced – truly shocking
I honestly don’t know how Wilko is still operating. I ordered a garden chair and have spent weeks trying to return it, only to be met with complete incompetence at every step. Their so-called “chat service” is painfully slow, and when someone eventually replies, the responses are vague, unhelpful, and lacking any clear action.
They even had the nerve to blame me for the return not going through, claiming I didn’t respond in time — despite the fact I had messaged multiple times trying to chase it up. Then they told me I had to sort the return myself with a delivery company that never even turned up. To top it all off, they ended the chat mid-conversation and left me with no resolution whatsoever.
There’s no phone number to call, no direct email, and absolutely no accountability. It feels like they’ve set their system up to avoid helping customers altogether. I’ve genuinely never dealt with such an appalling level of service in my life.
If you’re thinking of ordering from Wilko — don’t. I completely understand now why they went under. The service is beyond poor — it’s non-existent.
