I ordered 2 x LEGO 10312 Icons Jazz Club sets from Wilko online and only one set arrived in the parcel. From the moment I opened the box, it was obvious there was only a single LEGO set inside and a big empty space where the second one should have been. I contacted customer service immediately and have spent weeks going back and forth with different advisors. Instead of actually investigating, Wilko keep repeating the same line: that a “sealed master carton” was dispatched and that these cartons “contain two items”. They treat this internal assumption as “proof” that I received everything, even though I clearly did not. I even contacted Parcelforce myself to ask for the recorded parcel weight. Parcelforce replied that they can only give this information to the sender, not the recipient – in other words, Wilko are the only party who can obtain the objective delivery data. Despite this, Wilko refuse to get the actual weight or any other real evidence from Parcelforce and simply insist that their box “should” have contained two items. The end result is that I have paid for two LEGO sets and only received one, and Wilko’s process leaves the customer carrying the loss. Instead of listening to the customer and checking the facts, they hide behind their “sealed box” procedure and make it feel as if the customer is lying. Very disappointing experience, and I will think twice before ever ordering from them again.

I ordered a Velo Indoor Bike Trainer from Wilko and when I tried to set it up and use it the two main treaded axle retaining bolts were completely seized (rusted in place). It was supposed to be a brand new unit but it was unusable. The after sales service is poor and they still have not agreed to refund or replace the item weeks later.

Tried purchasing drinking glasses from them twice. First time I tried to do click and collect as I was in the area and website told me I could collect in 1 hour. It still said collect in 1 hour during checkout but once order went through they told me it will be ready tomorrow. I don’t have any The Range / Wilko stores nearby, it’s an hours drive away. But while I was debating on what to do, they cancelled the order due items being out of stock. I then go online again and order same items for home delivery. Shipping prices are extortionate. £5 for delivery that takes 2 weeks, £6 for a over week or £7 for 4-5 day delivery. I end up paying £7. Out of 6 glasses one arrives smashed and one is significantly thicker than the rest. There are no post returns, you have to go to the store to return the items! Right, I have to carry a bag full of glass? How safe and convenient. So now I have to either take the loss or spend lots of time and gas money to get measly £5.98 back. Complete hassle and unreliable company, can neither keep track of their stock nor package the items right and label the box as fragile, no direct email address to contact them, no postal returns and insufficient locations. I won’t be shopping with them again.

This is not the same trusted Wilko brand, but a bunch of scammers. I bought a piece of furniture that arrived defective and damaged. Through chat, customer service offered a 50% refund, which I accepted, and I assembled the item using my own tools. However, afterward they rejected the refund and demanded that I return the item in a saleable condition. It never arrived in good condition in the first place. I told them I could return it in the condition it was received, but they refused. This feels like a total scam. I was wrong to believe this was the same company I used to love shopping with.

I ordered a garden shed from Wilko with delivery due on 16 December. The item never arrived, and I received no proactive communication. Over several days, I repeatedly contacted Wilko via WhatsApp and email and was given contradictory and misleading information — told the order was “on its way”, then that the courier didn’t have it, then that it was “dispatched” but not handed to the courier. Wilko ultimately admitted they could not confirm when or if the item would reach the courier or be delivered. Despite confirming there was no delivery timeline, Wilko refused to cancel the order when I requested a refund and instead instructed me to “refuse delivery”. This was particularly unreasonable given that no delivery was actually taking place. I spent hours chasing Wilko and their courier, effectively being asked to manage Wilko’s own logistics failure. Responsibility was repeatedly pushed elsewhere, and no one took ownership of resolving the issue. In the end, I was forced to raise a chargeback with American Express due to non-delivery and Wilko’s refusal to process a cancellation and refund. Poor communication, inaccurate status updates, and a complete lack of accountability. I would not trust Wilko with any order that requires delivery.

Absolutely shocking! Are trying to refuse a refund or collect a fridge which was damaged by delivery drivers or in transit ! I haven't even opened it because the damage is clear from the gash in the cardboard box. You can even see the damage in the photo that the delivery driver from furdeco took when he left it ! 2 companies I would never trust or give my business to ever again. Should make it to rogue traders or watch dog soon I would think!

Awful, so bad. Take your order and payment and nothing arrives. No phone number tells you they have so many complaints they can’t deal with the calls !!! Paid £80 got nothing. Is that not theft ?

I’ve been trying to return some poorly and falsely advertised Christmas lights for over a week - even went to the Range as suggested but the order number isn’t recognised - all electronic messages, not getting any where at all. I’ll never order from Wilko again - appalling service!

I bought a electric fire the flame lights did not work emailed customer service six or seven times they keep asking me to send videos which I have done four times now, now they tell me they want to contact the manufacturer. I did not buy it from the manufacturer. I bought it from Wilco absolutely disgrace. These people should not be allowed to get away with ripping people off. .

On two different occasions I have been to collect different items and then been told at the shop that they are out of stock. They waste your time and they don’t care! I spent nearly an hour on chat and she did not resolve the situation and was trying to put it off for the next day and therefore waste my time some more! She didn’t even answer all my questions. It is rude and very bad customer service!

I rarely leave negative reviews, but Wilko has truly earned this one. Their customer service is practically non-existent — no contact number, no real way to speak to a human, just endless automated replies that go nowhere. They’ve repeatedly lied about delivery attempts, claiming items were dispatched or attempted when they clearly weren’t. It’s a complete waste of time chasing phantom parcels and trying to get answers from a company that refuses to be accountable. The lack of transparency, poor communication, and disregard for customers is unacceptable. I expected better from a high street name. Wilko needs to seriously rethink how it treats its customers — starting with honesty and a working phone line.

I ordered a Salerno armchair and 2 seater Salerno settee on the 06/10/25 both items were in stock 4 of the armchairs and 20 of the 2 seater settees once my order has gone through both items reduced by 1 which I assumed meant they had been allocated, I received a confirmation letter giving me a delivery date of on or before the 13/10/25. I received a email with different order from the Range now giving a delivery date of 06/11/25 this is unacceptable so I requested a refund of the full amount only for them to process the payment for the order despite the order being stated as processing.

Items left outside and items stolen, over a week and Wilko failing to solve the issue- have done everything they’ve asked, but not interested whatsoever. Actually sent me a wrong customer’s information in the midst of all the messages, so don’t trust that my information is safe. Bunch of crooks.

If I could give minus stars I would, never in my life have I come across such a terrible service, their online services is pathetic taking over 4 hours to answer a message, a conversation can take a few days, then it goes to emails where they then just ignore. I bought a set of 2 dining chairs, lovely chairs but the bolt holes don't line up to put them together, didn't realise they was no customer service number where you spoke to an agent and get the matter resolved quickly, in stead it's all on line and when they do respond they are not at all pleasant and don't fulfill what they say they'll do.... This company shouldn't be allowed to trade like this and rip people off...they need reporting.... Like many others here this is the first and last time I will ever buy anything from Wilco's again... Avoid at all costs, it's worth paying a little bit more from a more reputable shop, with a customer service phone number.

have been a loyal Wilko customer for years, but after my recent experience I will never buy from them again. The paint I purchased was completely unusable — watery, with no coverage, and left my walls looking awful. I’ve used the exact same paint on other properties without any issue, so this was clearly a faulty batch. When I contacted customer service, instead of listening, they spoke to me like I was a child and even tried to tell me how to paint. To make matters worse, they refused to take any responsibility or offer a resolution simply because the tin had been opened — as though it’s possible to know paint is faulty without opening it! This shows a complete lack of customer care and accountability. Wilko clearly does not stand by the quality of its products, nor do they value long-standing customers. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere from now on. Doesn't warrant any stars as far as I am concerned.

What put 0 stars but that’s not an option. Ordered a table and an avery lamp from this company. The table and the lamp were both being delivered by different companies. I received the table with no issues however this lamp was taking its time. DHL was the apparent courier for this item and they had “no tracking information” can’t speak to a physical person at wilko so was emailing them back and forward. Getting told “it’s been shipped” when after 7 days of complete hell, they admitted the lamp was out of stock and it was shipped in the first place. I disputed the payment through my bank and got it back and purchased a different lamp that was in stock. 4 days later contacted them as to why it hasn’t been dispatched and shocker, it’s now out of stock… it wasn’t when I bought so it doesn’t make sense. Trying to speak to one of their advisors is like speaking to a brick wall, clearly no trained correctly and don’t have a clue what they’re doing. Requested a cancellation and refund and of course they want me to wait 48 hours to get that approved as well. AVOID AT ALL COSTS
