I ordered an ottoman bed online from Wilko, and it arrived faulty and unsafe for my child to use. I contacted them, and they agreed in writing via WhatsApp to arrange a collection and give me a full refund.
A week later, they’ve gone back on their word and are now trying to force a replacement instead of refunding me, despite the safety concerns and written agreement. This is completely unacceptable and goes against basic consumer rights.
I won’t be ordering from Wilko again and will be escalating this through Trading Standards and formal complaints. Be careful when ordering from them — they do not stand by their own promises or your rights.
