I was stopped at the boarding gate because my backpack appeared to be over sized. I removed a sweatshirt and hoodie from the bag and wore over my t-shirt. The bag then met the measurement requirements. The Wizz staff member spent 15 minutes arguing with me, telling me that I was not allowed to wear those items of clothing because the temperature at the destination was 29°.
I told her it's my choice how I decide to dress.
She wanted to charge me an extra €75 for wearing the items.
When I started videoing the conversation she backed down and allowed me to board the flight without extra payment.
This is a blatant attempt of the airline to rip off customers.
