✈️ Terrible experience with Wizz Air
Our flight W9 3901 from Bacău to London Luton (5 Sept 2025, 00:20) was cancelled one hour after the scheduled time.
We received an email saying the flight was rescheduled for 13:30 instead.
After waiting at the airport, we were told there would be no hotel accommodation or transport provided, so we had to arrange and pay for everything ourselves. We also had the children with us.
Weeks later, I received an email from the customer service saying that I needed to claim under another section - the one that I was recommended from a wizz phone representative to follow (no link provided, and I couldn`t find the proper section on the website) and that I will be refunded less than half of the expenses I encountered and offered no compensation. I also lost around £1,200 in income due to missed work sessions because of the flight rescheduling.
Overall, the way this situation was handled was unacceptable.
I do not recommend Wizz Air — very poor communication and no real support for passengers affected by cancellations.
