I stayed with XLN for years, and it’s one of my biggest regrets. They were charging our small business £60–£80 a month for services that weren’t worth even half that. When I finally decided to switch to BT, they bombarded me with calls and emails, begging me to stay. They offered a lower rate of £22/month, and, foolishly, I agreed, hoping they’d changed. But not long after, the price began creeping up again, first to £40, then more. Their excuse? “Costs.” Typical. Eventually, my contract came to an end - and I clearly told them I would NOT be renewing. That should have been the end of it. But instead, XLN renewed the contract without my consent and charged me £103, which included a £45 charge they claimed was because they had “given me a discount” to stay with them earlier. Let that sink in: They offered me a £45 ‘discount’ to stay, then when the contract ended, they charged me that same £45 for not staying. So it was never a discount, it was bait. They waited until the contract finished, then punished me for walking away, even though I left after completing my full contract. This is pure deception. I had to block them through my bank to stop them taking more money. XLN operates with dishonest, unethical tactics, and I’m sharing this so others don’t get trapped like I did. They mislead small businesses, lock them in, and penalise them for leaving, even after fulfilling the contract. Please stay far away from this company. You will be better off with any other provider.
